We can and do ship puppies and adult Cockers through the airlines. We mainly use Delta and American,but on occassion we have used others. In the bad heat of the summer or dead cold of winter, we can use Continetial (they are temperature controled), but it is a 3 hour trip one way to that airport and we must charge an additional charge for gas money.
Shipping charges themselves usually run between $200 and $300. Many factors go into this figure including weight of dog, size of crate, etc. Health Certificates are $35. This is what my vet charges, I have no control over it. These are only good for 10 days so we normally take the puppy in the day before the flight incase it is canceled for some reason we still have time to ship. The crate will be anywhere from $20 to $45 and in some cases more, depedning on the size of the puppy or dog being shipped. You can ship two dogs or puppies in the same crate provided there is enough room. The final charge is the gas money. Since the nearest airport to ship from is Nashville, Tennesse, and is almost 2 hours away one way, there is a $25 gas charge. Puppies flying with Contenetial have a $35 gas charge.
Actual shipping charges can be prepaid or collect, however crate, health certificate, and gas charge must be paid in advance.
At this time we only ship to the US, but we have shipped dogs to Canada before, I am still willing to do this on a limited basis, but you will need to contact me in order to get a quote on the current prices.

An alternative to shipping by plane is delivery. We only go to certain areas so please feel free to ask and we will give you a quote.
